In this tour we will reveal to you the most secret corners of Prague, which are shrouded in legends and centuries-old secrets. Our guide will take you into the atmosphere of old Prague, filled with the grandeur of royal palaces, exciting stories and incredible architectural beauty.
Our journey starts from the observation deck near Prague Castle, one of the most majestic and famous historical complexes in the world. Standing on the observation deck, you will see the whole of Prague as if in the palm of your hand – endless rooftops, majestic towers and green expanses that contrast with the grandeur of the Castle. Our guide will tell you about the rich history of this place and how Prague Castle became the heart of Czech politics, culture and spirituality. Here, at the top, you will feel part of Prague’s ancient history and the views of the city will stay in your memory forever.
Next, we will descend down Nerudova Street, one of the oldest and most picturesque streets in Prague. This street preserves traces of aristocracy and old traditions. Narrow cobbled pavements and unique houses with mysterious signs on their facades will make you feel as if time has stopped here. You’ll learn how houses in this neighbourhood were marked with images rather than numbers: ‘Golden Horseshoe’, “Green Crayfish” and “Two Suns”. These ancient symbols will tell you about the time when Prague was a true centre of European culture and trade.
Our next stop is Malostranska Square, surrounded by magnificent buildings and ancient churches. Here you will feel the spirit of the Baroque era, and in the centre of the square we will be greeted by the grandiose Church of St. Nicholas. This is a place where every stone preserves stories of great events of the past, and where Mozart himself once played the organ, which still amazes with its power and grandeur. You will learn all about the construction of this amazing temple and how the church became part of the spiritual life of the city.
Then we will go to Prague Venice, a truly magical corner of the city where time seems to slow down. The Church of Our Lady over the Chain, John Lennon’s Wall and Velkopřevořevořská Mill are places imbued with an atmosphere of mysticism and art. Our guide will reveal the fascinating stories of the area, the mysterious Order of the Knights of Malta and the history of John Lennon’s Wall, a symbol of freedom and hope for millions of people. Every corner here is filled with emotions and vivid memories that will stay in your heart forever.
Our steps will lead us to the Velkopřevorský Mill, an ancient structure that is part of the most magical part of Prague – Čertovka. We will tell you about the legend associated with the river and how Malá Strana and Kampa Island are separated by this narrow water. Walking through these quiet streets, you will feel as if you have entered the world of fairy tales, and the incredible atmosphere of this place will make you forget about time.
Our journey will end at the Malostranskie Bridge Towers, the guardians of the Charles Bridge, the most famous bridge in Europe. These majestic towers, with their grandiose views of the Vltava River and the old town, will leave you in awe. Here you will touch history, feel its power and beauty, and the mesmerising views of the river and the bridge will give you truly magical memories.
